INTRO

THE DRESS

Once I knew about Ihwa Mural Village, I knew I had to add it to my must-see places bucket list. I swear that being inKorea has reignited my creative drive and my desire to create because of its cool artsy places. The aesthetic game in Korea is strong and I'm always left in awe by the attention to detail not only in the places I visit, but also the events that I go to and the marketing campaigns I've encountered.

I realize that I have a thing for things that are black, flowy, and floral and this dress does a great job of putting those elements all together. I feel quite mature and put-together when I wear this dress and I would say that it's quite form-fitting and does a great job of making me seem taller than I really am. The material for the dress is super breezy and light but have no fear, there's another black fabric layer underneath that won't leave you exposed by the sheer upper layer. I enjoy the higher V neck line created by overlapping fabric. The cute ruffles on the half length sleeve keeps this dress flirty and adds another element of movement to this flowy dress you can swish and twirl in. It's perfect for frolicking in~

THE LOOK

SHOES

To go with the black flowy dress, I paired it with my black platform heels to keep the elegant but still edgy feel. Wearing platform heels also ups the height factor without having to sacrifice comfort. Perfect combo. 10/10 would recommend.

ACCESSORIES

I wore silver dangly earrings to go with the white flowers of my dress and to incllude another element of movement to my look. If I had to wear a purse, I would wear a black purse with long straps. I would wear it on the side instead of as a crossbody as to not cover up the dress.

Blurb from my sister: "To accent the v-neckline of my dress, I kept it minimal with the accessories: a black choker and a dainty, gold necklace."
